I’m Tatjana. I grew up in Nice, France, with German parents, which gave me a mix of influences and a love for exploring different cultures. After spending ten amazing years in London, where I really got my start in VFX, I’ve now made my way to LA, chasing new projects and challenges with Clear Angle.

I’m part of the capture team, and my main focus is on Dorothy, our custom facial scanning rig. It’s a pretty unique setup that covers everything from high-res 3D capture to 4D performance based facial replacements. My role is to set up and operate Dorothy ensuring each capture meets the top-notch quality Clear Angle is known for. There’s also a lot of behind-the-scenes work: maintaining the rig, coding tools and pushing the boundaries of Dorothy. When I’m on location, I sometimes handle the full-body and prop systems, setting them up for captures, making sure the data is up to our standards. The best part? It’s hands-on, creative, and every day brings a new challenge.

The first time I saw a real world object transform into a digital asset, I was hooked. I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Clear Angle gave me a way to do that every day and in new ways, constantly pushing the limits. It’s inspiring to be part of a place that never stops evolving and lets me learn and try new things all the time.

Wicked was something truly special. I was lucky enough to work on everything, the Full Body Rig for talent captures, Dorothy for facial scans, and even props with our prop rig and laser arm. Some days even involved the lidar scanner. Being able to cover that full spectrum of capture was a thrill, and I’m excited to see the final product.

I’d have to say it’s our in-house tools, they’re built to match our pipeline perfectly and keep evolving with our projects. These tools make everything run so much more smoothly.

Scuba diving is my go-to escape. I love the feeling of slipping into a world that’s completely different from anything above water, where it almost feels like you’re flying. It’s both peaceful and exciting, and there’s always something new to discover. I also love scrambling/hiking, one of my favourite climbs was Snowdon where this picture was captured.
